and the photo I was going to use for my profile. My dad nicknamed me "AL" a long time ago! I have been trying hard to remember the first time he used it and I can't. I do distinctly remember that he has used more frequently in the last five years than ever. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I have lived in the same metropolitan area with him during those years. Because (this is a story for another day) I went as far away as possible for all of my higher education! Regardless - I love you, Dad.
