HNT #1 - My "Heart Butt"
You gotta love children! My husband and I both have a tatoo, his is Yosemite Sam on his ankle and mine is a design with a heart on my lower back. Loo calls DH's the "angry man" and mine the "heart butt" due to its location! Last week, she was talking to DH before he passed in bed and looked at his angry man; then she looked at me and said, "Mama, I want to see your heart butt!" The funny thing is, even though she has only called it this once before, I knew exactly what she meant.
So, for your viewing pleasure and my first official Half Nekkid Thursday, I present my "heart butt" . . .
I told DH this story today for the first time and asked him to take a picture of it for my blog. Of course, he got my baby-baring hips in the picture (aka-love handles), too! My first response was, "I'll edit them out, b/c I look fat just popping out my four-month-old baby boy!" DH insisted that leave it b/c they are beautiful and he loved them. Aaaawwww . . . I am sucker for compliments :)
This creative shot was taken by Loo. She was so excited to take a picture of my "heart butt" and look at it on the digital camera. I love teaching her how to take pictures (my favorite hobby), even if she took a few extra shots of my huge butt! I will not be posting those - LOL!
The last picture I took by myself, in attempt to get close enough to see the "details" of the tatoo. My tatoo artist was a really nice guy, created this design from what I described and added touches of white to the edges to make it have depth, etc. Whatever! Now, ten years later, it just looks like it needs to be filled in more. Which I do not plan on doing any time soon :)
So, I guess I am no longer a HNT virgin - cool!
