SPF - Happy Birthday to Kris . . .
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday deeear Kris,
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday deeear Kris,
Happy Birthday to you!
Today's assignment was fun and allowed me the opportunity to act a little silly! Here was the Birthday Queen's homework:
1. Take a picture of something you own that you’re ‘gifting’ me with.
(You don’t really have to give it to me, it’s a ‘CYBER’ gift - so go hog wild!)
I never-ever have cash on me, but one of my customers gave it to me to buy some CM products. Pictured here for your cyber present is a day out shopping with all three meals paid for (no cooking!), topped off with a huge pile of kisses for you! My Hubby always encourages me to shop more (can you believe that?), but I really have to be in the mood to cut loose . . .1. Take a picture of something you own that you’re ‘gifting’ me with.
(You don’t really have to give it to me, it’s a ‘CYBER’ gift - so go hog wild!)
2. Write 3 words that describe me on paper and take a picture of it.This is a fabulous idea :) Handwriting says alot about a person! I am a doodler and created this artwork using a ballpoint pen and lipgloss! Now that's creative, baby - LOL! Since I have just started reading Random & Odd, the SPF Queen, I don't know that much about the birthday girl; however, she replied to my Flickr message and was very helpful. I really appreciate people that are prompt with replies and that lend a helping hand to everyone! Her "pay it forward" theory is not just a fabrication - we should all be more positive this way.
3. A self portrait of you doing a dorky face in the mirror.
Since I already looked like crap after a long day, I decided to go for broke and messed up my hair for some really stupid shots. I snuck away with Loo's "Birthday Queen" crown that is so tight it squeezes your brains out. I suffer greatly for these silly face shots, I hope you enjoy them :)
The whole taking a picture in the mirror sucked, so I turned my new baby (Nikon D50) around for a few shots. Anyone that knows me in real-life would laugh b/c I am infamous for always taking my own picture - if I didn't there wouldn't be any pictures of me! Eventually, Loo came in the room and busted me wearing her crown and I got lectured by a three-year-old - LOL! "Mooooom, that's my princess crown!"

I love your gift! That was a good choice for Kristine, because what you might not know about her is... IF she has extra money, she spends it on the kids. She's a great mom like that. Glad you played! :-)

Ah, maybe you should gift Kristine the Birthday Princess crown, and then have the 3 year old go redeem it.
Yeah, like Kristine needs another mouth to feed.
