Your Questions Answered!

1)What was the best part about having DH home?
Well CD, this is an excellent question b/c there are so many good things about him being home! Our family misses him a lot when he is gone :) If I had to choose one thing, I would say it is having the "family" (Loo loves to say it) together and knowing that he is there to assist when I need it. Some of my favorite times are when we are all cruising in his truck, especially coming home from daycare together after a Sonic run for "slushy juice"! It awesome with the windows down for "big wind" (this is new b/c Loo finally likes it)!

2)What's the best thing about having him gone?
Not that I feel I have to tell my hubby everything I do, but it is nice to have the freedom of "worrying" only about me (and the kids). Plus, not being woken up by his snoring :)

Did you shave your legs for your cable guy? LOL!
Nope! I rarely shave when DH is gone . . . now that summer is approaching I will have to shave more - darn :)

Where did you go for your honeymoon?
Gatlinburg, Tennessee to a chilate' in the Smokey Mountains and then we went to visit family in Ohio and Illinois.

Do you prefer crunchy or smooth peanut butter?
Smooth

..ohhhh...I know...can we get a room by room tour of the new abode?
Yes! I will take and upload pictures this weekend . . . that will be fun!

I am voting for house details!
Well, I love the new house and just ordered the furniture for the living room this week. That was a stressful experience b/c what we want has to be "special ordered" with a 25% non-refundable down payment. I never thought of myself as a person that would order something of that nature or put money down like that! We better like it :)As of right now, there are five families living on our block and lots of homes under construction. All of the neighbors are really friendly, except for the couple that is engaged right next to us. We have lived there for almost one month and I have yet to meet the woman. They never come out of the house and don't seem interested in interacting with anyone . . . that is so NOT me!

Do you have flowers outside the new home - can we see them?
We have one lonely flower that just bloomed the other day.

Wow, how are you going to choose?I guess we'll see who you like best! No, just kidding........
I love everyone equally . . . times have just been busy and I have been unable to get back to the questions. Today DH wrote me an email that said my adoring fans were waiting for my replies! LOL!

This afternoon (in less than 90 minutes) I will be closing and officially selling the old house! This will be a huge stress relief for us :) With DH out-of-the-country right now, I have Power Of Attorney and will have to sign twice for everything - that is a LOT of signing! I might not be able to function and type later - LOL!

I like the house/landscaping questions! C'mon, answer up!
Loo and I have done a few things to spruce up the front landscaping. This is the red wagon that Loo & I picked out together at Walmart - it is so cute with the boy pushing the girl. Below is the green butterfly hanging from a tree in the front that she picked out.

Have you taken any pictures since you've moved in? And if so, what has been the most frequent target of your lens?
You know it :) The kiddos, of course!

Well cameradawktor, believe it or not she can actually answer that question honestly without offending me.
Yes, usually he is good about it! I know sometimes it is hard for DH to see what I write and know that you can't do the guy thing and "fix it". I love having this outlet to bitch and moan. DH and I have an agreement . . . he can read it, but can't complain or get his feelings hurt! To be honest, I have tried my best to not censor or change what I write b/c he reads my blog, but it is hard to not think about it in the back of my mind. I must say, I have noticed a difference in his empathy and understanding "Inside AL's Mind" and it has been healthy for our relationship!

For my own personal benefit:1) What is DH working on first when he gets home. ;-)
First? That is an easy answer . . . ME! Then you can start on your "honey do" list.

Have you gone through all your boxes yet?
LOLOLOLOLOLOL - I have put a dent in them and have less then 25% left. When I do my room-by-room tour this weekend, you will see the progress or lack-there-of!

"Do Honey" then "Honey Do's". Got it. :-)

BTW, you didn't call me out on it but I know that the "25%" of boxes are mine! Just go out and look at the garage to make yourself feel better. :-)

I understand about selling your old house. The memories bind you to it. Although the new place is beautiful!

Thanks! Love the exterior, I'm sure the interior is just as beautiful!

25% is not bad to have left. I think it took me a week or so to undo all of mine and I wasn't even working.
