BUSTED!!!!
See This Man . . .
This is my loving husband and his ass is busted!
Busted!?!? You might ask why? Well, let me tell you . . .

Some of you may remember that a while back I asked for you advice on whether or not I should allow DH to have my blog address. Seven commented with mixed reviews, most leading towards "No, it should be your space". I felt the same way, so I started the family blog for him to read (plus, a great communication device for all family & friends), since some of the blogs that I would have wanted him to read were about the kids, etc. . . .

I guess I made a mistake, b/c I told him that I was THINKING about letting him read it (Yes, you can see where this is going)! He got his hopes up a little bit and then became CURIOUS. We are know what happens to curious people . . . eventually they just can't take it anymore . . .

The first thing that gets me upset is that he agreed in the beginning that it was "my space", "private", "it would be like reading my diary" and said he would not try to find it. Fine. I understand that he wants more insight to his wonderful, beautiful wife. However, if he was disappointed that I chose to keep the site to myself, he should have spoke up and just asked to read it. Even though I might have grumbled a little bit about it, I probably would have told him. But, I can probably guarantee that I would not have been so blunt with some of my previous posts (especially when I called him an F'ing idiot for wanting to play with Loco in the middle of the night - sorry Honey!) and been more aware of what I was posting - killing the concept of this being my place to "work things out"!

The second and most important thing that gets me mad is that he went BEHIND MY BACK and found my blog. Then he preceded to read it for a least a week, probably longer, without telling me. I know this b/c after I started the family blog, I installed a visible stat tracking code on it and an invisible one on mine. My original intent was to never spy on my husband, I thought he was not reading it. Then the first day I log-on to view the results - BAM! - someone from Thailand has read my blog. Now you could say this was a coincidence or that I have an international audience b/c my blog is so damn good and really popular, but let's be honest! It just so happens that Hubby left to go back to work a few days before this. Where does he travel to when he's gone - THAILAND - hhhhhmmmm, looking suspicious!

Words cannot describe how I felt. My face was on fire for the rest of the day. I marched right home and logged onto his account and looked at his history, too. I'll be damned, he was reading it from home, too - before he left! And there was a trail from when he was looking for it, which I'm sure wasn't hard to find with blogger's search engine and our children's nicknames. This really got me mad! I decided that I was going to give him a few days to confess, hoping his guilt would get the best of him. It never did.

Finally, instead of letting the anger eat me alive, I asked/told him about it. I tried to be subtle at first and let him still "admit it", by telling him in an email that I installed a stat tracker, etc. This didn't work. So, when instant messaging each other, I told him I know he reads it, blah, blah, blah . . . he played it off and denied it! Oh, I was smokin'!!! I sent him an email explaining how I knew and told him I wanted an explanation. Then it took two days for us to resolve the conversation b/c between the kids and his work, we were too busy.

Finally, he sent me an apology email and explained that he is happy to be reading it b/c he feels like it is helping us/him. I can forgive him, eventually, b/c I do hold grudges (should have thought of that first, baby)! He swears that it doesn't bother him if I talk about him, even if it is negative and venting, and wants me to write the same. I will hold him to that b/c I have known that he's been reading now for over a week and feel my posts have been true to me; however, he is not home and pissing me off!

I told him the other night when we talked, that I was originally not going to tell him that I knew he was reading it and was going to post his picture with a large title, "BUSTED"! He thought that was hysterical and told me that I should do it still. My reply, "Oh, don't you worry . . . I will be posting about this and it won't be pretty." So, there you have it! I'm not pissed anymore, but don't feel happy about how this played out. Now, don't hold back and tell me what you think about this shit! And take the poll over on the right --> to give me input on what his punishment should be . . .

Please keep reading for another weekend post that is near to my heart about friendship.

He's sneaky but you're sneakier! Glad you caught him before you exposed some serious girl secrets!!

I can tell you that my blog has brought me closer with my husband... I think there are times when the male mind cannot "hear" something, but they get the picture loud and clear when they read it.
Don't start editing your voice now... he wanted to read it so now he has to face the consequences of what is being said....

You want a man's point of view? What he did was SO wrong--thought I'd take up for him, didn't you? Nope. It's a trust and security issue. He should trust you enough and he should be secure enough with himself and y'all's relationship that the thought to go behind your back and read your personal writings would never enter his mind.

My mouth was hanging wide open....I think that is your best post of all time. What a sneaky little snot, even reading it from home, pretending he wasn't....it's like he was having an affair.....with YOU!!! Tricky little B_sT_Rd.

Think he'll read that? If you move over here to be my next door neighbor he might not like me....tee hee!
